Day one of the show, the Earth Sports team ran demos of the site and MotionNotes to passers-by. On day two industry leaders joined the team for cocktails and introductions. But day three was the real stunner. By this point in the show attendees had seen most of the displays they were interested in and were revisiting those they’d seen earlier, to finalize deals and take some final notes. As a result it was the slowest-paced day of the show for most exhibitors – but not for Earth Sports and MotionNotes. Word had spread about the new concepts, and people who had heard the buzz sought out our team members to get the low-down. As a result, the display was jam-packed from start to finish and news about Earth Sports immediately began popping up in fishing-oriented blogs, on sites like Chicagonow.com, Illinoisoutdoors.com, Boats.com, Yachtworld.com, HookedOnFishingBoats.com, and Gary Engberg Outdoors.

The industry let us know that our introduction of both EarthSports.com and MotionNotes was the right service at the right time. One industry leader even said we will become the Google of fishing. ICAST was the perfect venue to launch our entry into the fishing world, and we are thankful to everyone who visited our booth and our launch party.
